The Kingdom of Thailand is a country with very few Christians. Less than one percent of the 65 million people follow Jesus despite over 170 years of evangelism. Thai Buddhists usually face strong resistance from their families when they accept Christ. Their entire heritage, culture and identity are ingrained in Buddhism. Ancestor and idol worship are very real temptations here for the Thai believer. The need for new workers who can model the Christian life is great.
