Use your artistic talents to share Jesus Christ with Thai people through culturally relevant expressions.
Engage Thai communities by utilizing art and cultural expressions to communicate the Gospel. Collaborate with local artists and cultural groups to create projects that introduce people to Jesus Christ in meaningful ways. Your creative skills will serve as a bridge to share the Good News and disciple new believers.
· Develop and lead art workshops and events that convey Christian messages. · Build relationships with local artists to share the Gospel. · Create culturally sensitive art that reflects the love of Christ. · Mentor emerging Thai Christian artists. · Collaborate with churches to integrate art into worship and outreach. · Use art as a tool for discipleship and community building.
· A strong personal faith in Jesus Christ and a desire to make Him known. · A commitment to learning the Thai language to effectively communicate, establish relationships, and share the gospel in a culturally meaningful way. · Background in visual arts, music, dance, or other creative fields. · Ability to communicate the Gospel through art. · Openness to learning and incorporating Thai cultural traditions. · Note: Faithfulness, perseverance, and discipline, paired with flexibility, are more important than possessing special abilities. · To obtain a Religious Affairs visa (missionary visa), some form of formal training—such as a degree, diploma, or certificate in Biblical Studies, Theology, Missiology, or a related field—is required.
You will: Reside in urban or semi-urban areas immersed in the local art scene. Embrace Thai culture and participate in community life. Adapt to different living conditions while maintaining a servant heart. Be commited to building long-term relationships for effective ministry. Go with a minimum commitment of two years to build trust relationships and see lasting impact.
