Use community development to share Jesus Christ and plant churches in Thailand.
Implement community development projects that address local needs while sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ. Build relationships through practical service, leading to opportunities for evangelism and church planting. Equip local believers to continue the work and disciple others.
· Assess community needs and plan development projects. · Share the Gospel through word and deed. · Disciple new believers and integrate them into faith communities. · Train and empower local leaders to sustain development efforts. · Foster partnerships with churches and organizations. · Monitor and evaluate the impact of projects on spiritual growth.
· A strong personal faith in Jesus Christ and a desire to make Him known. · A commitment to learning the Thai language to effectively communicate, establish relationships, and share the gospel in a culturally meaningful way. · Preferably a background in community development or related fields. · Practical skills in project management and implementation. · Ability to integrate evangelism and discipleship into development work. · Good relational and cross-cultural communication skills. · Note: Faithfulness, perseverance, and discipline, paired with flexibility, are more important than possessing special abilities. · To obtain a Religious Affairs visa (missionary visa), some form of formal training—such as a degree, diploma, or certificate in Biblical Studies, Theology, Missiology, or a related field—is required.
You will: Live within the communities you serve, often in rural areas. Adapt to varying living conditions with contentment. Participate actively in community life, reflecting Christ's love. Embrace unexpected challenges with faith and perseverance. Go with a long-term commitment (minimum of three years) to build trust relationships and see lasting impact.
