Job Description

At this time the Deputy Guest Home Manager is ministering to local Guest Home Staff and handling administrative tasks that carry on even though we expect the guest home to be closed to guests during most of this period.

This is a volunteer position. The Deputy Guest Home Manager would initially be expected to be onsite at OMF for 4 - 5 days a week for 2 - 3 hours each day. You will need to have your own housing. Lunch is available onsite for a small donation. OMF's Guest House is situated at 2 Cluny Rd., Singapore.

Responsibilities

Giving day-to-day leadership to the Guest Home employees including:
Kitchen staff
Laundry staff
Cleaning staff
The Deputy Guest Home Manager would liase with the Office Manager and Facilities Manager when needed.

Liaise with International Center and Singapore National Office regarding room bookings for meetings and conferences.

The Guest Home Manager would liaise with kitchen staff to ensure smooth running of facilities - meals, food supplies, cleaning.
Handle all ordering for the kitchen.
Create schedules for staff.

Record all income and expenditure.
Submit monthly accounts to International Co-ordinator for Finance and Administration.

Qualifications

We are looking for a person/couple:
- with organizational and serving gifts
- who is adaptable, flexible, patient and approachable
- with good English proficiency, although English can be your second language
- able to work in an international team

Basic computer skills are required.
