You may be familiar with the proverb “Until you walk a mile in another man's moccasins you can't imagine the smell.” Not only smell but also taste, feel, hear and see what the rich culture of these people is about. Available after September 2025 Length of the trip: 4-8 weeks.
Come on a short term trip to learn about the people we serve - this opportunity will help you come to know and understand them better as you build relationships with people in the communities where we live. You will stay in a cosmopolitan provincial capital that is a major hub for this big island. It’s a coastal area with several major universities. You will find many young people here who are willing to interact with you.

You will be required to dress according to local cultural norms which means modest dress as well as adjusting lifestyle and language. Be able to work with a diverse team of people from different cultures. Have an attitude that is flexible and willing to learn.
Befriend young adults and tertiary students, journey with them as they make the transition into adulthood and nurture them into life-long disciples of Christ.
