Share the hope of Jesus Christ with prisoners in Thailand, bringing transformation behind bars.
Visit prisoners to share the Good News of Jesus Christ, providing encouragement and discipleship. Build relationships within prison communities, leading Bible studies, and helping inmates experience God's love and forgiveness.
· Conduct regular prison visits to share the Gospel. · Lead Bible studies and discipleship programs. · Provide counseling and mentorship to inmates. · Collaborate with prison authorities and chaplains. · Support inmates' reintegration into society and connection to local churches.
· A strong personal faith in Jesus Christ and a desire to make Him known. · A commitment to learning the Thai language to effectively communicate, establish relationships, and share the gospel in a culturally meaningful way. · Compassion for the marginalized. · Preferably experience in counseling, pastoral care, or prison ministry. · Ability to navigate institutional systems with wisdom. · Cultural sensitivity and respect for authority structures. · Note: Faithfulness, perseverance, and discipline, paired with flexibility, are more important than possessing special abilities. · To obtain a Religious Affairs visa (missionary visa), some form of formal training—such as a degree, diploma, or certificate in Biblical Studies, Theology, Missiology, or a related field—is required.
You will: Reside near prison facilities to maintain regular contact. Adapt to security protocols and institutional environments. Have a flexible schedule to meet visitation requirements. Go with a long-term commitment (minimum of three years) to build trust relationships and see lasting impact.
