Job Description

The Social Media Project Manager oversees the end-to-end Media for Movements strategy. Working closely with the Team Leader, the Project Manager will coordinate all aspects of the evangelistic media project and see that resources being created and/or leveraged in a timely manner. The project manager will also ensure that all personnel connected to the project are working together to bring the Media for Movements strategy to fruition. You will gain experience and mentoring in project management as you learn to provide oversight and direction to online evangelistic social media campaigns among some of the world's ethnic peoples with the fewest followers of Jesus! You will have a global impact, working closely with teams and national believers who will meet online seekers face-to-face for discipleship.

Responsibilities

a) Support Field Teams to enable Media for Movements implementation. b) Provide Leadership to the Media for Movements initiative. c) Provide oversight to equip teams with funding strategies for Media for Movements initiatives. d) Network with media experts from other organizations e) Creatively overcome technical and relational obstacles amongst team members and national partners.

Qualifications

a) Have experience using Facebook Business Manager and related tools on other social media platforms. b) Demonstrate strong leadership, teamwork, and collaborative abilities to solve problems in a group context and keep the project on task. c) Have managerial experience and lead others with care as we attempt to reach various goals of a campaign. d) Have a willingness to research the people group that the campaign is targeting. e) Have the ability to cast vision and train people in new approaches to evangelism f) Have the ability to see the big picture of the Media for Movements campaign and g) Be a self-starter with the ability to set SMART goals in a group context and dialogue with the team leader to support the work and vision of the team executing the campaign.

Living Situation

This is a full-time role can be undertaken virtually from anywhere in the world, but an annual visit to Southeast Asia to meet the people with whom you will be working is encouraged.
