We are looking for English teachers to come for a minimum of 3 weeks from July 16- August, 2025.
Located in Chiang Mai, Thailand, the school was founded by an American missionary couple to provide a high quality Christian education for the marginalized children in Chiang Mai, Thailand. The primary goal at the school is to prevent marginalized children from being trafficked. Missionaries from all over the world are recruited to educate every child in the English Program and nurture the students’ faith. The local Thai teachers teach the Thai curriculum with Thai language. Above all, the school aims to integrate the truth of the Bible throughout the curriculum and various activities. Due to the fact that many of the English-speaking missionary teachers need to go back to their home countries for support raising or family reasons during the summer months of June to July and the Thai school year restarts in May every year, the School welcomes short term teams or individuals to serve to teach English, Mandarin, extra-curricular activities, and Vacation Bible School.
Teach English to children from age 6 – 18. The curriculum is provided by the school. Assist with extracurricular activities as needed. The hosts can mentor university students for internship credit if desired.
Native or near native English speaker TESOL qualification certificate required. We can recommend certificate programs if needed. A desire to love the people, not just get experience teaching. A willingness to be flexible and try new experiences.
Thailand’s climate is hot and humid. Air conditioning is available in many places but not all. You will use public transportation. The host will help find housing for the teachers. The estimated in-country cost is $45-50 USD/day. Additional costs include international flights, insurance, and Serve Asia fees which vary by OMF sending centers/countries.
