Job Description

You would help develop a curriculum appropriate for the context and age group (aged 10-14 years), as well as train a long-term worker in how to mentor children (aged 10-14 years) in hands-on projects. Through translation, you will also help lead parts of the STEM activities. Our previous projects included projects such as learning about digestion, water rockets, spaghetti bridges, foam gliders, and SCRATCH computer programming. Bring your ideas and expertise to help inspire young people toward STEM careers in Southeast Asia.

Responsibilities

If you love Science, Technology, Engineering, and/or Math, then you will enjoy this role.

Qualifications

Having teaching experience with youth in projects related to STEM fields, whether formal or informal, is helpful.

Living Situation

A willingness to wear appropriate clothing, alter diet to meet local preferences, and be flexible to the local situation are needed. Not easily distracted from the team's clear focus on the unreached people group. Being able to thrive in places where fellowships are absent: a strong relationship with God is required for this!
