Job Description

We're seeking to engage the young professionals of the Tai Yuan people of Northern Thailand! A segment that has largely been neglected by the local Thai churches. The percentage of Tai Yuan Christian population is around 0.2% after 150 years of work!

You will be teaching English in a language school owned and operated by a local Tai Yuan Christian. The vision of the language school is to use languages as a platform to engage a segment of the population that would otherwise not walk in or join a church event.

You'll be living in the city of Chiang Rai, Thailand.

Responsibilities

Teach English and learn conversational Thai

Qualifications

Short-term (3 months): A TESOL certificate/degree or a degree in English is beneficial but not necessary.

Longer terms: TESOL certificate/degree or a degree in English is NECESSARY due to visa application purposes.

Previous teaching experience (any sort of teaching) is extremely beneficial.
