Job Description

Job Description We want to see God glorified through Philippine society exhibiting the Biblical kingdom value of the knowledge of God and His will, with all wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives (Col 1:9). As the evangelical church continues to grow in the Philippines, the need for leadership training and theological education also increases. There are many excellent Bible Schools and seminaries throughout the Philippines and there are opportunities both to study and to serve in these institutions: • Asian Graduate School of Theology (AGST). https://www.agstphil.org/ • Biblical Seminary of the Philippines (BSOP). https://bsop.edu.ph/about/ • Asian Theological Seminary (ATS). https://ats.ph • Koinonia Theological Seminary (KTS). http://www.kts8.edu.ph/ Come for 2 years where 50% of your time is spent in theological education, learning language and studying culture to understand how Filipino theological thinking has been formed. If you thrive, we would encourage you to stay on for a longer term, going home every two years for two to three months. While teaching is in English, learning the Filipino national language will enable you to contextualize your teaching and help you build friendships and thrive in the local culture. Short term trips are encouraged.
