Job Description

The goal of this trip is to prayerfully determine if God is calling you to long-term service by temporarily joining our media outreach team as an observer and learner. We envision a trip that will be two weeks or less where you will join an active field team. You will participate in daily life in a SE Asia context. You will learn culture and a bit of language. You will see how various teams are reaching out using social media. You will meet local believers and be able to explore how foreign missionaries can support their efforts of sowing the Gospel broadly through media. You will observe first-hand coaching, content creation, and how teams operate to facilitate outreach and spiritual growth. It is best to adjust one’s attitudes regarding time, efficiency, and privacy, as social norms in SE Asia are often quite different than those of the West. Additionally, you will be challenged to grow in your understanding of the local religion both in its religious and social aspects.
