Outreach to students at lower tier University campuses in Taiwan.
Students at lower tier universities, many from working class families in rural areas. Often when graduating they will stay in a working class work environment. There is very little Christian outreach onto these Campuses by either churches or Christian student organisations. Reaching and discipling those who may be future leaders and employers among the working class is a key strategy of our field. Missionaries live in appropriate local accommodation. Mainly rural or semi-rural areas.
* Advising the student leaders. * Leading, training and encouraging students in evangelism. * Leading Bible studies to disciple and train students. * Preaching at student fellowships. * Organizing and leading evangelistic and discipleship camps during vacation time.
* Some experience with student ministry would be beneficial. * An ability to do personal evangelism, one to one discipleship and to lead Bible studies and discussion groups. * Must be humble, teachable and able to work as part of a team under Taiwanese leadership. * Must have a lot of stamina, which is essential in mixing with young people * Some formal Bible training is necessary. The government also requires incoming missionaries to have recently spent one to two years in Christian ministry. * Must be flexible - we are looking for people who are open to new ideas and able to function well in an unstructured situation with a lot of freedom.
Taiwan is a wealthy country and is wide open to Christian activities and to missionary work.

Be salt and light to those who have either Buddhist worldviews, or are devoted followers of Buddhism. Most of them are in East Asia.

Serve in a Sunday School or youth group. Minister to children with special needs or teach Third Culture Kids. The opportunities to care and point the next generation to Christ are aplenty.
