Have you heard about Tchoukball? If you have not but love learning a new sport, here’s your opportunity! Our team of expat and national workers coach this sport in schools, both local and international. Besides coaching Tchoukball, there are opportunities to do discipleship among the youth and young adult players and help organize competitions among schools and with Asian Pacific teams. This opportunity will only be available again from January 2026
This opening is ideal for individual candidates who are thinking about living amongst a minority people group so that they are better able to understand them. It will suit someone who is able to spend from 3 months to a year in the region and who wants to discern God's call on their life. We also welcome teams who would love to come and learn about this new sport and/or compete in friendly matches.
You will: • Assist or coach in our sport’s program • Help develop a sport’s teaching curriculum if one is trained in this area. • Work and train with local youths in schools • Disciple youth • Help organize friendly matches or competitions • Work with a long-term team and learn more about long-term cross cultural work
Requirements: • Those with coaching experience would be at an advantage • Love sports and outdoor activities and games • Enjoy working with youth and young working adults
You will be required to dress according to local cultural norms which means modest dress as well as adjusting lifestyle and language. Be able to work with a diverse team of people from different cultures. Have an attitude that is flexible and willing to learn.
