Leverage social media to share the Good News of Jesus all over the world! This role seeks to understand the questions and felt needs of those seeking spiritually. Then, you can identify Bible stories, testimonies and other videos, pictures, or text to meet these felt needs and invite seekers to respond.
Now is the time to leverage social media to share the Good News of Jesus all over the world! We are running several social media campaigns to do just this and we would love to have you join our team. The Content Developer creates or adapts content relevant to our target audience. This role seeks to understand the questions and felt needs of those seeking spiritually. Then, you can identify Bible stories, testimonies and other videos, pictures, or text to meet these felt needs and invite seekers to respond. In conjunction with the field team responsible for the campaign, the Content Creator will help create posts and ads for different Social Media platforms, like Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. The Content Creator should be familiar with the different Social Media platforms and have skills in graphic design, like photo editing, graphic layout, color and text selection. The Content Creator should be familiar with the corresponding software for these tasks, which could be as simple as Canva and similar online tools, or as complex as Adobe Photoshop or similar.
a) Create Content for Social Media Ministry Campaigns b) Post content to social media platforms. c) Evaluate and improve Content and Ads.
Must trust in the Lord and depend upon Him to complete this work. Must be a disciple of Christ with a desire to make disciples. Helpful to have experience using Facebook Business Manager and related tools. a) Helpful to have experience creating media content (Canva / Photoshop / iMovie / Final Cut Pro etc). b) Have a willingness to research the people group that the campaign is targeting. c) Demonstrate strong teamwork and collaborative abilities d) Be a self-starter with the ability to work autonomously and dialogue with the field team in SE Asia to support the work and vision of the field team executing the campaign.
This role can be undertaken virtually from anywhere in the world, but an annual visit to Southeast Asia to meet the people with whom you will be working is encouraged.
