Job Description

Teach courses in theology, ministry, preaching, leadership and personal development/basic psychology. Mentor and disciple students, contribute to curriculum development, and support the growth of the Filipino church through quality theological education. Responsibilities

- Commit to and engage in the life and curriculum of the seminary or Bible school you are assigned to. - Connect and participate in local churches, learning about local forms of worship and church governance. - Be willing to participate in local and international theological networks.

Qualifications

A strong personal faith in Jesus Christ and a desire to make Him known. A commitment to learning the local language and culture to a high level to be able to effectively communicate, establish relationships, and share the gospel in a culturally meaningful way. A passion for modeling mission work and training leaders. Have significant life and ministry experience who can come alongside church leaders to consult, mentor, and coach them. Advanced degree in theology or related field (Master's or higher). Preferably experience in teaching and academic leadership. Cultural sensitivity and ability to contextualize teaching. A servant heart and a desire to understand and engage with contextual theologies. An ability to communicate complex concepts clearly in English in a multilingual context.

Living Situation

You will: - Be based near the seminary or school, often in urban centers. - Have a standard academic schedule with additional ministry opportunities. - Engage with academic and church communities. - Go with a long-term commitment (minimum of three years) to build trust relationships and see lasting impact.
