As a member of a pioneering team, you would be teaching in a school while exploring urban ministry with like-minded local and expat friends. There is a need for teachers who can teach Chemistry, Biology and Science as well as languages such as English and Chinese.

The weather is hot and humid year round. The people are warm and friendly. The cities are full of cars, motorbikes, street vendors, and most modern conveniences. People continue to practice their traditions. The existence of the spirit world is assumed. You will find it helpful to adopt a lifestyle that is appropriate to the community you live amongst. This means you will need to dress modestly and be sensitive to the dietary restrictions of your neighbors. Living like this will help you settle quickly into your community and connect with your neighbours.
If God has given you a heart for the peoples of East Asia, you can be part of God's purposes for them in different practical ways, even in your home country.
