MSG-CGK provides blended learning opportunities for expat homeschool families in Southeast Asia, serving third-culture kids (TCKs) and their families across Indonesia and Malaysia. Teachers and staff engage students through one-week in-person modules each month, paired with three weeks of home-based assignments.
Travel to the capital city for 1 week of in person teaching every month. Be available to help the students for 5 hours each week online while they are learning back in their homes. Start date: August 2025 (2025/2026 academic year) Contract: 1-2 year commitment
In addition to your teaching responsibilities you will study some local language and learn about loving and serving people cross culturally. This is a non-paid position, and you will need raise your own funds to serve in this role.
o Passionate teachers committed to serving students from diverse backgrounds o A love for Jesus and a desire to disciple TCKs beyond academics o Subject expertise in Science, Math, or English at the secondary level o Flexibility and adaptability to serve students in a hybrid educational setting o Previous teaching experience preferred
You will be based in a vibrant, busy city 2 hours away from the capital city where you will live amongst local people and learn about their food, culture and way of life.
If God has given you a heart for the peoples of East Asia, you can be part of God's purposes for them in different practical ways, even in your home country.
