Equip Thai believers for ministry by teaching theology and leadership in educational institutions.
Teach theology, ministry, and leadership courses in Bible schools or seminaries, preparing Thai believers for ministry. Mentor students, contribute to curriculum development, and support the growth of the Thai church through quality theological education.
· Develop and teach courses in theology, biblical studies, and ministry. · Mentor students in their spiritual and academic growth. · Participate in faculty meetings and curriculum planning. · Engage in research and stay updated on theological scholarship. · Collaborate with local churches to understand ministry needs.
· A strong personal faith in Jesus Christ and a desire to make Him known. · A commitment to learning the Thai language to a high level to be able to effectively communicate, establish relationships, and share the gospel in a culturally meaningful way. · Advanced degree in theology or related field (Master's or higher). · Preferably experience in teaching and academic leadership. · Cultural sensitivity and ability to contextualize teaching. · Note: While academic qualification and teaching ability are important in this field it remains true that faithfulness, perseverance, and discipline,paired with flexibility, are often more important than possessing special abilities.
You will: Be based near educational institutions, often in urban centers. Have a standard academic schedule with additional ministry opportunities. Engage with academic and church communities. Go with a long-term commitment (minimum of three years) to build trust relationships and see lasting impact.
