Job Description

Provide training and mentorship to lay leaders in Thai churches, equipping them with biblical knowledge and practical skills. Utilize methods like Theological Education by Extension (TEE) to empower believers to disciple others and lead their communities in following Jesus Christ.

Responsibilities

· Develop and teach leadership training programs grounded in Scripture. · Mentor individuals in spiritual growth and leadership. · Create accessible educational materials suitable for various contexts. · Collaborate with local churches to identify and support potential leaders. · Encourage multiplication of leaders to strengthen the Body of Christ.

Qualifications

· A strong personal faith in Jesus Christ and a desire to make Him known. · A commitment to learning the Thai language to effectively communicate, establish relationships, and share the gospel in a culturally meaningful way. · Strong biblical and theological understanding. · Preferably experience in teaching, mentoring, and leadership development. · Familiarity with TEE or similar training methodologies. · Cultural sensitivity and effective communication skills. · Note: Faithfulness, perseverance, and discipline, paired with flexibility, are more important than possessing special abilities. · To obtain a Religious Affairs visa (missionary visa), some form of formal training—such as a degree, diploma, or certificate in Biblical Studies, Theology, Missiology, or a related field—is required.

Living Situation

You will:  Live within the communities where you serve to build relationships.  Travel as needed to conduct training sessions.  Adapt to varying cultural contexts with humility.  Go with a long-term commitment (minimum of three years) to build trust relationships and see lasting impact.
