Serving alongside an OMF church planting team in South Thailand. During the Christmas period, Thai people are presented with more opportunities to encounter the gospel. We will be visiting schools, churches, and local communities to help with these Christmas outreaches. The team will be led by Kim and Mary who spent over 20 years in Central Thailand as long term missionaries with OMF.
An overseas team draws interest amongst Thai people which provides opportunities for the local OMF team and Thai Christians to share the gospel. We will support Christmas outreaches by praying, leading games, singing songs, short drama performances, sharing testimonies, and practical service, all to reach Thai Buddhists for Christ. This will also give the team members a taste of cross-cultural missions to Thai Buddhists.
Participating in pre departure training, daily team devotions, sharing testimonies, and serving where needed.
Willingness to serve. Some experience in serving in your local church/community is advantageous.
Basic motel style accommodation.
Less than one percent of the 65 million people in Thailand follow Jesus despite over 170 years of evangelism.

Serve in a Sunday School or youth group. Minister to children with special needs or teach Third Culture Kids. The opportunities to care and point the next generation to Christ are aplenty.
