OMF International is seeking a Facilities Manager with a knowledge of and heart for Christian mission who will help to run, support, and maintain the International Centre and its grounds, as well as other properties under its control, in Singapore.
OMF International is a global fellowship made up of Christians who share the good news of Jesus with the peoples of East Asia and partners with them to see the church multiply and expand. OMF International is seeking a Facilities Manager with a knowledge of and heart for Christian mission who will help to run, support, and maintain the International Centre and its grounds, as well as other properties under its control, in Singapore. As an integral member of the team at Cluny Road, the Facilities Manager will work closely with, and supervise the Maintenance team, as well as any contractors.
• Liaise with, and manage contractors for both regular and specialized works, while making cost evaluations. • Work with items such as CCTV, electrical distribution, and air-conditioner systems. • Create a maintenance plan for the facility and budget for repairs and replacement. • Lead the maintenance/facilities team, working with them when necessary. • Grounds maintenance and management of vegetation growth. • Read, record, and verify monthly consumption of electrical and water. • Arrange for annual inspections of gas, lift, and electrical lines. • Manage the emergency response plan and brief the necessary parties. • Miscellaneous administration such as security codes, keys, payments, lock up and maintaining instructions and documentation as necessary
• Training as a Facilities Manager or Operations Manager • A minimum of three years’ experience managing a facility • Ability to read building plans, e.g. electrical and plumbing • Fluent in written and spoken English. • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Teams
