OMF International is a global fellowship made up of Christians who share the good news of Jesus with the peoples of East Asia and partners with them to see the church multiply and expand. OMF International is seeking a Guest Home Manager with a knowledge of and heart for Christian mission who will help to run and support the Guest Home in its Singapore headquarters. The facility is used for significant international events and trainings in the organization as well as a place for our workers to come and find rest when they are traveling, attending medicals or waiting on visas. As an integral member of the team at Cluny Road, the Guest Home Manager will work closely with, and supervise the Guest Home employees, as well as any contractors
• Manage and give day-to-day leadership to Guest Home employees and contractors, including kitchen, dining room, laundry and cleaning staff. • Ensure that facilities such as rooms, communal areas, kitchen, and laundry run smoothly, have the relevant supplies, and are cleaned as necessary. • Handle all reservations for the Guest Home rooms. • Ensure that guests are welcomed, and checked in, offering pastoral sensitivity and care when needed. • Oversee meal ordering and reimbursements from staff. • Record all income and expenditure, approve invoices as necessary, and submit monthly accounts. • Liaising and working with personnel at Cluny Road, including the Singapore National Office
• Hospitality training is expected. • A minimum of three years’ experience in hospitality is expected. • Fluent in written and spoken English. • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Teams
• Must fully embrace OMF’s evangelical Christian ethos. (including our Vision, Mission, Values, and Beliefs. Please refer to our website https://omf.org for more details). • Must be committed to their own spiritual formation and discipleship • Is open to praying for and raising financial support from sponsoring Christians or churches to cover his or her cost of serving, including a contribution to the overheads of the mission. • Wants to use his or her gifts and training to serve God • Living in the HQ compound
OMF in Singapore has two major thrusts: OMF Singapore continues to partner with churches in cross-cultural missions and in the formal training of pastors, missionaries and disciple-makers; OMF's global base for serving the Fellowship in pursuing its vision and mission is our International Center, located in Singapore since the early 1950s.
