We will discover the Shan Buddhists of Myanmar who have fled the fighting in Myanmar and come to live in Thailand. We will serve these refugees, focussing on their children and youth. We will be evangelising and praying for the Shan people and learning how we work amongst the marginalised.
There will be opportunities to learn from our workers and to minister to Shan children and the children of our workers at Myanmar Rivers conference. People with a heart for children and youth will be very welcome to apply for this extraordinary opportunity. Opportunities working with children of many nationalities for English-speaking people. We also welcome people with German language to work with our German and Swiss missionary kids.
Games and entertainment:- Organising games and activities for the Shan children Music at conference and during outreach events. Able to assist/help teach secondary and/or primary age kids Communicating:- Writing a blog/vlog, keeping in touch with prayer partners. Taking pictures/video. Prepare their testimony and a short 5-minute Bible Study.
Christian with growing prayer life Passion for kids or teens ministry 18+ in good health and abundant energy for active kids program Helpful in this role: Openings for German, Swiss-German speaking assistants for younger children with limited English.
