Join the Philippines Field and be part of the movement to help plant 300,000 churches and raise 30 million believers by 2033. We need a coordinator who can build and support volunteers as we augment our field staff with local and expat volunteers. Equip and empower volunteers to use their gifts and skills for God's glory in the Philippines.
We’re looking for more people to join our team because we believe there’s a place for every Christian and every local church to join in God’s work to share the good news of Jesus around the world. We are expanding with more volunteer opportunities and by volunteering, people can find their place in God’s global plan. The role of the Volunteer Coordinator involves taking responsibility for promoting, supporting and bringing accountability to the volunteers with the purpose of encouraging them to become fully engaged in world mission. There are also opportunities to develop your leadership gifts within our teams by supporting and facilitating the work of volunteers.
Oversee the volunteer program Collaborate with the Strategy Leaders and Field Director to identify, recruit, and place volunteers. Develop and guide the onboarding process of volunteers, aligning to OMF values. Maintain records of volunteer data and information Coordinate volunteer schedules Ensure that volunteer policies and procedures are applied Evaluate and identify areas needing improvement in the volunteer program
Strong administrative skills – able to schedule and coordinate activities and manage details. Prior experience in leading diverse teams of varying ages and backgrounds. Good communication skills, fluent in spoken and written english. A heart for discipleship and leads with patience and grace.
Likely to live in a major city. Willingness to travel to visit teams across the nations in various urban and rural settings. Embrace the opportunity to come alongside people of different backgrounds. Comfortable and flexible in new situations with new people.
There is still a need to bring the Gospel in all its fullness to this diverse nation that is open to missionaries.
