Based in the Philippines, focus on recruiting and mobilizing new workers globally to join in sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ with the FIlipino people. Build networks, share testimonies, and encourage others to consider serving in Philippines through prayer, giving, or going.
Develop relationships with potential missionaries and supporters. Create and implement strategies to increase awareness about the needs of the Philippines and mobilize people to pray, give and be involved in cross cultural missions in the Philippines. Organize informational events and presentations about missions in The Philippines. Share stories of what God is doing to inspire involvement. Distribute resource kits for global mobilizers Collaborate with Philippine Home Council, mission agencies and churches globally.
Have a passion to inspire and invite people to explore missions A strong personal faith in Jesus Christ and a desire to make Him known. A commitment to learning the local language to effectively communicate Strong networking and communication skills. Preferably experience in recruitment, mobilization, or missions advocacy. Understanding of cross-cultural dynamics and mission work. Willingness to travel within the Philippines and internationally. Note: Faithfulness, perseverance, and discipline, paired with flexibility, are more important than possessing special abilities. It would be an advantage to have skills in designing promotional materials and media, and social media management.
Based in an urban or sub-urban area with good connectivity. Have a flexible schedule to accommodate meetings and events. Engage with both local and international Christian communities.
There is still a need to bring the Gospel in all its fullness to this diverse nation that is open to missionaries.
