Join a team of mostly Filipinos in provinces and disciple college students who are among the least-reached peoples. Share Jesus Christ, teach, mentor and disciple college students for future impact.
Engage with students and build relationships to share the Good News of Jesus Christ. Disciple new believers, train them to share their faith and disciple others, and integrate them into local church communities, fostering a multiplying movement in provincial communities.
Build relationships through campus involvement and events. Share the Gospel and lead discussions on faith. Disciple students and mentor them in leadership. Lead Bible studies and discipleship groups Train students to evangelize and disciple others. Collaborate with university staff and campus ministries. Communicate and work with the students’ provincial home church.
A strong personal faith in Jesus Christ and a desire to make Him known. A commitment to learning the local language and culture to effectively communicate, establish relationships, and share the gospel in meaningful ways. Preferably experience in student ministry and passion for raising up the next generation. Biblical studies – degree, diploma or certificate. Ability to connect with college students intellectually and relationally. Skills in evangelism, discipleship, and leadership development. Cultural sensitivity and effective communication. Note: Faithfulness, patience, perseverance, and discipline, paired with flexibility, are more important than possessing special abilities.
You will: Live near campuses to maximize interaction. Have a flexible schedule to meet with students when they are free. Engage actively in campus life while maintaining a Christ-centered focus.
There is still a need to bring the Gospel in all its fullness to this diverse nation that is open to missionaries.
