The heart of our ministry is serving God by serving people, no matter what our particular role is. By using your gifts of administration you serve missionaries as well as East Asia’s peoples with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Using our gifts for God’s glory is a great privilege. People with administrative gifts are needed in a wide variety of roles. In some cases, those roles may be full-time and perhaps overlap with areas such as Finance or Human Resources. A center finance manager may either deal directly with relevant officials on matters such as visas and health insurance for example, or lead a team that addresses these needs and more. Sometimes the administrative role may be part-time and involve serving on a direct ministry team, using your administrative abilities to manage projects, events, coordinate classes, etc. Qualified and capable administrators are needed in both sending countries and the countries where the primary ministry is evangelism and discipleship. They may serve as part of a team or be a primary administrator with a wide range of responsibilities. You will need to learn the main language of the country in which you serve, both for work effectiveness as well as functioning as a member of a local church or ministry team. The exact language proficiency requirements will vary according to the role. Education and professional training and requirements will also depend on the role envisioned, and in some cases by government visa requirements. We look for women and men who are capable and qualified in the needed areas, have a strong maturing relationship with God, and have a passion for seeing God glorified among East Asia’s peoples, and beyond.
